Continuous supplies through Odessa — Brody pipeline to Mazyr oil refinery will begin in January 29. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko at a meeting of Homel Voblast Executive Committee on January 28. According to him, an oil tanker has already docked at the seaport.

As the First Vice-Premier noted, Mazyr Oil Refinery will get Azerbaijani oil by swap scheme with Venezuela. It is planned to similarly pump about four million tons in 2010, BelTA informs.

Vladimir Semashko said that Mazyr Oil Refinery would operate at full capacity in the coming year. In particular, despite a hitch in the plant’s work, pace of commodity output must grow at least by 10% in the first quarter of the year compared with the last year.

First Deputy head of Government also informed that during the negotiations with Russia, the Belarusian side managed to thrice lower the price of one ton of oil to $90-100.
