Outstanding Debts of Agricultural Enterprises Continue to Increase

The outstanding bill payable of the agricultural organisations increased from the beginning of the year by 10,4 % and amounted 2.1 trillion roubles (700 million dollars) on May, 1st, 2010. The total amount of bill payable was 10.96 billion roubles (3.5 billion dollars), the representatives of the National Statistical Committee (Belstat) informed.

31.3 % of total outstanding bill payable in the country fall on agricultural enterprises. Thus outstanding bill payable exceeded outstanding bill receivable in 5.1 times, Belstat informs.

The outstanding debts for fuel and energy resources amounted 65.1 billion roubles (21.7 million dollars) on May, 1st and in comparison with the beginning of the year grew by 13,3 %. The outstanding debts for taxes and dues, having decreased from the beginning of the year by 35 %, amounted 86.5 billion roubles (28.8 million dollars). 34.9 % of outstanding tax debts in the country fall on agricultural enterprises.

Outstanding debts for credits and loans of the agricultural organisations by 26 % in comparison with the beginning of the year grew, and they amounted 416.8 billion roubles (139 million dollars) on May, 1st. 36.8 % of the given debts fall on agricultural enterprises.
