Palazhanka Released on Her Own Recognizance

Nasta Palazhanka, Deputy Chairman of the registered in Czech Republic youth organization "Young Front", was released on February 17 from KGB remand prison on her own recognizance. YF Deputy Head is accused of organization of mass disorders in Minsk on December 19, 2010.

As the «Young Front» reported, Nasta Palazhanka is currently at home with her relatives. She is very interested in the situation that prevailed in the YF during her absence. According to the girl, she feels a great shortage of information, as in the custody, she almost received only a few letters from her father and no news of events in the country. 
Nasta Palazhanka reported also that she was released without signing any petitions or letters. Currently, she cannot leave the territory of Minsk. 
As Telegraf informed, Nasta Palazhanka was detained on December 20, 2010. She was charged for the organization and involvement in riots on 19 December.  YF Deputy Chairman spent nearly two months in pre-trial prison. 
There are 42 accused and 12 suspects under the case of «December 19». The first judicial sitting on this case was held on February 17. Court of the Frunzenski district of Minsk sentenced Vasil Parfiankou, who was a member of the electoral initial group of the former presidential candidate Uladzimir Niakliaeu, to four-years imprisonment in the colony.
