The bill of the objects which are in sole property of the state was read a second time, and committed by the members of the House of Representatives of National Assembly of Belarus. Belaruskali, one of the world biggest producers of the potash fertilizers, was excluded from the list of the not privatizeable enterprises. The document is to be considered by the Council of Republic on June, 30th, then the bill will be by parliament will be transmitted to President Alexander Lukashenko to sign it.
As Natalia Zhernosek, the Chairman of the State Property Fund of the State Property Committee of Belarus, said, the state had already finished estimation of Belaruskali. However, she refused to voice the estimated enterprise cost.
«The only thing I can say, is that the cost of the basic assets is very large, we haven’t got the authorised fund of such scale yet», the representative of the State Property Committee said, Reuters informs.
Belaruskali supervises 15 % of the world export of potash fertilizers. The exclusive seller of its products is the JSC «Belarusian Potash Company», which is owned by Belaruskali and the Russian company Uralkali on parity basis.
