Deputy Head of Pension and Social Insurance of Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Belarus Larisa Yashkova said during the online conference on March 17 that pensions in the country would increase, but added that it's too early to talk about some specific terms.
According to the representatives of the Ministry of Labor, pensions were been raised last time in November 2010, but only by 10%. In general, pensions have increased three times over the last year, BelTA informs.
Larissa Yashkova also noted that Belarusian pensions have been raised more than 1.6 times in real terms over the past five years adjusted for inflation.
