Poles to be Painted before Putin Visits Brest

On the eve of Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, visit to the regional center, where on March 16 is scheduled a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, Brest authorities decided to paint all poles and clean the streets. As it is reported, on Monday, March 15, public utilities' workers began setting the city to rights from the early morning.

In particular, special attention was paid to Moskovskaya street, which continues outside Brest as Brest — Minsk -eastern border with Russia — Moscow M1 motorway, informs «European Radio for Belarus».

According to reports, sometimes you can see minivans with people, accompanied by the traffic police cars with sirens turned on. Special yardmen teams are cleaning the streets.

It is expected that in Brest the participants of the next meeting of the Council of Ministers of Belarus and Russia will discuss energy resources balance for 2010 and the issues of forming an integrated transport system.
