A group of employees of Smolevichi branch of "Minsk Gear Works" in the person of deputy chief of shop, head of department, foreman and driver have committed thefts of gears for tractors in industrial scale for a long time. The criminals filled false data in goods-supporting documents and took the parts off the enterprise, selling them on the "grey" parts' market.
The investigators are finding out where exactly kidnapped gears from MTZ tractors were sold, Ezhednevnik informs.
It is possible that as a result of the operation they’ll be able to find an underground market of spare parts for Belarus tractors. In the meantime, there initiated a criminal case against four employees for the theft through abuse of official authority, committed in large scale.
The police detected another group of thieves at «Slutsk Meat Plant». The loader and driver, who were stealing products, were covered by a senior warrant officer of police department of security department of Interior Ministry.
Officers of head department of own security of MIA discovered that from March to May of this year a policeman took a bribe of 1.5 million rubles, allowing freely take various meat products off the meat plant’s territory.
