Law enforcement agencies of Belarus rebuffed attempts to destroy the country from outside. This has been stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking in the Oval Hall of Government House before the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic with an adress to the people and Parliament. "We've repulsed sincerely as we could," said Alexander Lukashenko. The president expressed his gratitude to the law enforcement agencies for their work.

The President said that Belarus was subjected to massive pressure. «Massive information attacks, visa ban lists and economic sanctions, events at «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station. All these are links in a chain — someone wants to destabilize the situation in Belarus, let loose, wreak havoc so that to stifle the independence like with the noose. Someone wants to make us be like everyone around us. Like them, in the end. We are for them like a bone in their throat,» said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President said that they expect «discord in the power and massacre in the Oval Room in Belarus.» «The top of dreams is provoke scuffle in the Oval room, to divide the economy into pieces and distribute to all, said Alexander Lukashenko. — Nobody has any right to encroach on the property.»

The President continued: «We are not like them. How come? There’s the country without resources but with problems all over. But she’s somehow surviving. How come that she wasn’t put on a par with those countries, being successfully destroyed and bombed nowadays. It’s always disturbing when a neighbor is doing better … And we’re jealous, envious, but we never gloat. But strive to do well.»

«We perceive such neighbor policies. But if they try to put us on our knees, make us bow, and then strangled, we won’t let it happen … we will fight for our piece of the land. These efforts are in vain. The Belarussian people has suffered a lot of its history (fascism, CNPP), it’s hard to make us be scared or fooled,» said Alexander Lukashenko.
