In Belarus, it's planned to increase pre-natal leave by 14 calendar days and provide it after 28 weeks of pregnancy. It was declared by First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Prtection, Pyotr Grushnik.
«It is reasonable, especially because of the fact that, as a rule, the majority of pregnant women in late pregnancy are issued a sheet of disability due to various complications», BelTA quotes Pyotr Grushnik.
At present, relevant changes are being made to the Labor Code of the Republic of Belarus. The representative of Ministry of Labor expressed the hope that this proposal would be supported at all levels.
