Prime Ministers of Belarus and Lithuania Visited Historical Sites of Niasvizh

Informal Meeting of the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Lithuania Sergei Sidorski and Andrius Kubilius was held on July, 27th in Niasvizh. Prime Ministers drove through the city in the horse carriage, they visited Slutskaya Brama, the Corpus Christi Church and the castle and the tombs of the Radziwill family.

According to Andrius Kubilius, he was positively impressed while traveling in Belarus. «We chose a very good route. We are satisfied that the Belarusian Prime Minister agreed to arrange for us this rest», the Lithuanian Prime Minister said.

Andrius Kubilius was glad to visit the historical places of Belarus. «Visiting such places as here in Niasvizh, people can feel the breath of history — the history that was made for hundreds of years,» the prime minister said, BelTA informs.

Sergei Sidorski in turn, noted that Belarus carried out many activities to restore historical buildings and monuments. Belarusian Prime Minister admitted that he also likes to visit historical sites, but he added regretfully that he visited the similar sites in Lithuania last time during the Soviet era.
