Prosecutor general of Belarus sent to the National Center of Legislation and Legal Research proposal to amend the law "On Corruption Combating" with additional article. The proposed article should include a two-years-ban to work in commercial or non-profit organizations for citizens who were dismissed (terminated) from the civil service.

According to the prosecutor general’s office, a talk is about a ban on employment in managerial positions in companies which were bound in the past year in work of former civil servants due to performance of their duties, such as supervision, control, inquiry, investigation or had a direct influence, according to AFN.

«These restrictions should be set for all categories of public servants, military personnel, internal affairs officials,  financial investigators, enforcement and emergency officers», — the prosecutor general’s office stated.

A proposal permits former civil servants to be employed before the expiration of a two-year ban, by the consent of a public body which was the last  workplace of civil servant.
