Putin Approved the Treaty on Military-Technical Cooperation with Minsk

Russian government approved the agreement between Russia and Belarus on the development of military-technical cooperation on October 25. Corresponding decree of the Cabinet of Ministers was signed by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. This was reported in the press service of the Russian government.

Belarusian-Russian agreement, signed in Moscow on December 10, 2009, will be presented to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to ratify by the Duma, BelTA informs.

This agreement is aimed at further strengthening of Russian-Belarusian relations by creating a legal framework and mechanisms for bilateral military-economic and military-technical cooperation between the two countries during the aggression threat rise and war.
