Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, stated that the government of Russia will seek to "conscious and the most intimate" integration in the frames of establishment of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, and later Common Economic Space of the three countries. It was said by Russia's Prime Minister at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation.

«We will have not only a single customs territory, but common markets of capital and labor force, integrated transport system and much more. I am convinced that the establishment of Common Economic Space will create a major positive impetus to the development of Russian economy. It will provide additional opportunities to both citizens and business», press service of Russian government quotes Putin’s words.

«In fact, they will be able to choose freely where it’s more convenient to work, to realize their plans, projects, and therefore the state should improve the investment climate more actively. And this competition, I am sure, will benefit», Russian prime minister said.

Russian Prime Minister recalled that they have already achieved one of the key agreements, namely, the distribution of revenues from import duties between the budgets of the Customs Union member-countries. «I believe that here we have been able to find a fair formula that maximally takes into account the structure of foreign trade relations between our three countries», Vladimir Putin said.

«It is expected that Russia will receive 87.97% of collected payments, Belarus — 4.7%, Kazakhstan — 7.33%», the chairman of Russian government stressed. «As you can see, every number after the dot is very important, because, ultimately, this is a significant part of our revenues».

Russian prime minister reminded that even in a crisis 2009, the duties brought 467 billion Russian rubles into Russian treasury. «The next week, it’s planned to hold talks with Russia’s partners within the Customs Union — Belarus and Kazakhstan. We will have to resolve the outstanding issues, to let a common customs code come into force from July 1 of this year, as it stipulated in the schedule of our joint work», Vladimir Putin said.
