Russian company Inter RAO postponed cutting off electricity for Belarus until Monday, June 27. This was stated in the company on June 21. "I've just had talks and consultations with our Belarusian partners; it's been decided to postpone electricity supplies cutoff for Belarus until Monday," he said.

As Telegraf previously reported, Inter RAO intended to cease the supply of electricity to Belarus from June 22 due to the failure of the official Minsk to repay the debts since March. At the moment Belarus has paid only the March debt to the Russian side, which still does not fit into the previously declared terms of repayment.

Russia halved electricity supplies to Belarus on June 9 for the first time this year. Further negotiations on Belarus’s phased debt payment resumed the supplies in the same volume.
