Russia Increases Oil Export Duty by $9.7

From September 1, Russia increased export duty on crude oil by $9.7 to $273.5 per ton. In August, export duty on crude oil amounted to $263.8 per ton. Relevant decision is adopted by the government of Russia, the press service of Russian Council of Ministers informs.

At the same time, there increased export duties on light oil products from $190 to $196.5 per ton, from $102.4 to $105.9 per ton on heavy oil products, BelTA informs.

Light oil products subjected to duties include light distillates, middle distillates, gas oil, benzol, toluene, xylene. Heavy oil products include liquid fuel, oil, discharged oil products, petroleum vaseline, mineral waxes and similar products, petroleum coke, petroleum bitumen and other remains of oil processing or oil products obtained from bituminous minerals.

Export duty on propane, butane, ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadiene, other liquefied gases is set at $ 45.2 per ton against $37.1 per ton in August.

Zero export duties are set on petroleum calcined coke.
