The Russian side does not exclude the adjustment of the gas pricing contract with Belarus for 2011. This was reported in the Belarusian Embassy in Russia after meeting of First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko with the chairman of "Gazprom" Alexei Miller in Moscow on November 30.

In addition, the simultaneous profits equalization is planned for the transition period of 2012-2014 years within preparation of a new contract, BelTA informs.

The parties also discussed the drafting of the gas agreement in a Common Economic Space. According to them, principle positions of the Belarusian and Russian experts agree on most issues. «First of all we are talking about fixing of equal gas prices and exit at this line from January 1, 2015. This opens the possibility of access of independent gas suppliers to the pipeline system,» the embassy said.

However, the representatives of the two countries expressed their understanding that these issues could be addressed simultaneously, when signing the relevant agreements of the CES.

According to Telegraf, «Gazprom» chairman Alexei Miller and First Vice-Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko met in Moscow on November 30. Russian gas deliveries will be carried out in 2011 in accordance with the price, fixed in the contract, but not with the price of 2010, as insisted by the Belarusian side, «Gazprom» informed.
