Ministry of Energy of Russia sees no threat to Russian oil supplies to Belarus because of the debt of the Belarusian oil refineries. This was reported by head of department Shmatko to the press on Friday, May 27. "I do not see such a scenario," he said.

The Russian official notes the issue has not yet reached the level of the Ministry of Energy. «We count on the companies to cooperate within the corporate negotiators, and I look upon practice of instant politicization being excessive in general,» said Sergei Shmatko, RIA «Novosti» news agency.

As Telegraf previously reported, one of the Belarusian gas station chains (A-100) has halted AI-92 petrol sale to population due to lack of supplies from refineries.
