On August 7, National Council of being created in Belarus Belarusian Christian Democracy Party decided to continue the preparation for the presidential campaign of the co-chair of the organizing committee to establish BCD, Vital Rymasheuski . An aspirant for presidency from the party stated that he was ready "to reach the final of this campaign". "I am ready to sacrifice myself and all I have", the politician stressed.
According to Vital Rymasheuski, all previous attempts to negotiate with other contenders failed. Nevertheless, the politician declared: «We must prepare the ground and urge international community to recognize this campaign illegitimate», Belarus Partisan informs.
In his turn, BCD co-chair, Paval Seviarynets, urged party members to sacrifice themselves. «It is not just the fight against Lukashenko’s regime for us. We have the thing Lukashenko does not have — it is the faith. The regime possesses great economic, propaganda and administrative resource, but current authorities can not resist moral challenges», the politician said.
National Council of the BCD plans to discuss and adopt electoral platform of the aspirant from the BCD on September 11. The same day, they are to hold another constituent congress of the party.
