Russian Sberbank in the next few months is ready to credit large Belarusian companies for several hundred million dollars. Chairman of the board of Sberbank of Russia Herman Gref made this statement at meeting with prime minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky.
«The current situation is conducive to our work in Belarus. Our bank has considerable free resources, and we will be in the coming months to credit several hundred million dollars to the largest enterprises of Belarus «, — said the banker.
Gref pointed out that the Sberbank began to work with the regions of Russia on crediting import of Belarusian machines, also launched the leasing projects related to the sale of Belarusian products, BelTA informs.
Chairman of the board of Russian Bank said that by his current visit to Belarus stage of entering of the Savings Bank to the Belarusian market ends and development stage begins. «We have effective work and cooperation. This is the beginning of our work. We are ready to maximize the development of our relations», — added Herman Gref.
The head of the Savings Bank has expressed gratitude to the leadership of Belarus for joint work in the difficult period of crisis. «This collaboration with Belarusian side requires us to ensure, that we properly fulfill our obligations», — said chairman of the board.
