Declarations that Belarus may terminate its participation in all integrity groupings of the former Soviet Union in case of non-recognition of the presidential elections results by Russia are "disinformation and dirty provocation". It was stated by the head of the presidential administration of Belarus Vladimir Makey on October 6.

«This is another provocation against Belarus. They, unfortunately, have increased in recent years,» Vladimir Makey said, AFN.

«Only a sick imagination of the authors, who hastily fabricated false report, could provide an opportunity for the emergence of Lukashenko categorical statements about Republic secession from any integration processes. Clearly, Alexander Lukashenko could have never claimed this in principle. Especially these days, being on a working visit to Turkey, he’s just unable to participate in any «private» meetings, aimed to discuss issues of bilateral political, trade and economic relations between countries,» the head of the presidential administration said.

At the same time, as he says, «this misinformation,» has appeared in the media not under «the direct order of Russian top leadership.» «Most likely, this is another disservice of scribblers and similar political scientists, far from real analytics, who by virtue of their narrow intellect and «awareness» are not able to come up with anything better than hackneyed phrases or, at least, to get acquainted  with Lukashenko statements on this topic,» Vladimir Makey said.

According to Telegraf, on October 6, Russian media quoted a source in Minsk on subject of President Alexander Lukashenko’s declarations that in case of non-recognition of the presidential elections results by Russia, Belarus may terminate its participation in all integrity groupings of the former Soviet Union: Union State, CIS, Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Customs Union and so on.
