Head of Pricing Policy Department of Economic Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee, Iosif Rachitsky, reported on March 17, that shuttle bus ride's cost in Minsk will grow soon. "Minsk City Executive Committee took the decision, it is being endorsed. I think, the prices for this type of services in will increase in the near future", informed Iosif Rachitsky
Price increase can reach 20%. «But every economic entity itself will determine the cost of ride, basing on expenses. But it should not be above the threshold. If the carriers transcend 20 per cent price increase limit, we’ll take penalties», announced Iosif Rachitsky, informs BelTA.
The decision to raise prices’ costs to ride in shuttle buses in Minsk was taken simultaneously with the decision to raise prices’ cost to ride in other public transport, said the head of department.
As Telegraf previously reported, the cost of public transport’s ride in Minsk grew on March 1. Now, the price of one subway, bus, trolleybus or tram trip is 700 rubles.
