Belarusian Society for Monuments Protection calls to boycott all products of Triple company. According to the chairman of society, Anton Astapovich, the reason for this was the company's participation in "destruction of architecture monuments". This society also offers to boycott Salodki Falvarak Café, Logoysk ski sport complex and Dinamo Minsk football club.
Anton Astapovich noted that calls to boycott all products and services of the company owned by well-known businessman, Yuri Chizh. According to the historian, Triple is «breaking the protective legislation and set the building at the crossroads of Bogdanovicha, Zaborskogo and Storozhevskaya streets. Moreover, the company also participates in the construction of Kempinski Hotel on the place of the first Minsk power plant near the Circus building, European Radio for Belarus reports.
«It turns out that when we buy services and goods of Triple, we fund the destruction of our historical and cultural heritage», Anton Astapovich believes. «That’s why I call: who cherish the heritage — don’t have to finance the destroyers and violators of law».
According to the historian, informally expressed their support for the boycott the members of Historyka and Ikamos public associations». As regards political parties, then they remain silent.
