Sole Proprietor Robbed an Unemployed in Train

Law enforcement authorities have identified a criminal who committed pickpocketing in the electric train Minsk-Baranavichy a month ago. The pickpocket turned out to be a 57-year-old Minsk citizen, director of one of the private enterprises of Minsk. The offender robbed an unemployed 27-year-old resident of the village Khriso Berezovski district of Br800 thousand.

According to the spokesman for the Department of Internal Affairs of the Interior Ministry of Belarus Alexander Marchenko, the fact of theft was established on December 7, 2008. The offender stole the bag with personal belongings, as well as a mobile phone from the pocket of the passenger, who was asleep at the time, BelaPAN.

In the course of search operations investigative police found the pickpocket on Tuesday, January 4 and confiscated a part of the stolen property.
