State Support to Enterprises Rises to 313.3 Million Dollars in January-June Period

In Belarus, the amount of state support to enterprises in the first half of 2010 increased in 5.6 times compared to the same period in 2009. Thus, state support amounted to 932 billion rubles (313.3 million dollars), informed in Belarus' Ministry of Finance.

Moreover, in the second quarter, the amount of state support increased to 704.9 billion rubles, comparing with 227.1 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2010, AFN informs.

The majority of funds (489.1 billion rubles) was allocated in form of budgetary loans and credits. To delay of arrears payment into the budget and fund of social protection there were allocated 261.6 billion rubles. Government’s guarantees on bank loans executed for 71.5 billion rubles. To compensate some part of interests on bank loans there directed 61.7 billion rubles.

Enterprises are provided with financial aid amounting to 33.3 billion rubles, the amount of tax credits amounted to 14.5 billion rubles.

Organizations managed by local executive bodies, got state support of 625.3 billion rubles. The main amount was directed to the allocation of budgetary loans and credits (380 billion rubles) and delay of debt repayments to the budget (221.9 million rubles).

In the sectoral structure, the largest state support was received by organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs (77.9 billion rubles).

The state allocated 62.7 billion rubles to organizations of Bellesbumprom concern, 33 billion rubles to enterprises of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, 27.7 billion rubles to enterprises of the Ministry of Industry, 15.5 billion rubles to organizations of Bellegprom. The amount of state support to other legal entities amounted to 89.7 billion rubles.
