The state without the ideology, which is the uniting link of the society, is defenceless. Ideological job is now one of priority areas of activity of all departments, Leonid Maltsev, State Secretary of Security council of Belarus, said at the Ministry for Internal Affairs' conference, called "Pressing questions of ideological job in law-enforcement bodies of Belarus and way of its improvement".
«The main ideologist in every team is a direct supervisor. And people follow him if he believes in what he does and in where he wishes to lead», Leonid Maltsev said. He added that it’s important for supervisor to show that he can guide each employee.
The Head of Security Council also emphasized, that every day it is easy to find hundreds positive examples in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the negative examples are rare. «And information about these rare examples shouldn’t prevail», State Secretary of Security Council of Belarus said, the representatives of the Ministry for Internal Affairs inform.
Leonid Maltsev mentioned that each head of the law-enforcement bodies should well know the rules of carrying out ideological work and its place in ideology of all country. «Work with youth is necessary to be put at the first place while organizing ideological training in law-enforcement bodies», State Secretary said. He added that youth questions are on the special control in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Leonid Maltsev said also about the system of preceptorship existing in law-enforcement bodies. He informed, that the skilled employees «look after beginners, help them to adapt».
