Stray Animals to be Caught Around-the-Clock In Minsk

There's a need to strengthen catching of stray animals in Minsk. This was stated by the head of the Minsk City Emergency Management Anatoly Dolgolivets at the meeting of the Minsk city executive committee on September 30. "It's necessary to organize in Minsk non-stop catching of stray animals, their transporting and placing in temporary holding nursery," the official said

The meeting was devoted to the implementation of measures to protect the population and territories from emergency situations of the city, BelTA informs.

Currently GP «Fauna» Brigade for catching stray animals work in two shifts — from 7.30 to 14.30 and from 12.00 to 19.00. Every month they catch 200-250 dogs and 400-450 cats in Minsk.
