Tanker with One Hundred Thousand Tons of Oil for Belarus Moored in Klaipeda

In the morning of August 29, Minerva Helen tanker with a trial consignment of one hundred thousand tons of Venezuelan crude oil for Belarus of Santa Barbara sort moored in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda at the moorage of Klaipedos nafta company. According to the director general of the company, Rokas Masiulis, now the tanker is passing through all necessary customs formalities, oil samples are being studied and unloading begins.

«We will carry oil unloading into tanks within two hours, however the shipment for Belarus will take more time — from one week to two. And now, at our moorage next to the one hundred-thousand Minerva Helen there being loaded with oil one hundred-thousand Minerva Maya tanker for Mažeikiai plant», Rokas Masiulis commented on the arrival of 80 thousand tons of Venezuelan oil for Belarus, BelTA informs.

As Telegraf previously reported, an agreement on the transshipment of the trial consignment of Venezuelan oil in the amount of 80 thousand tons through the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda was signed by Klaipedos nafta and Transchema company, founded by Belarusian Oil Trade House and Belorusneft company.

Naftan has already processed 160 thousand tons of Venezuelan oil

Meanwhile, in August, Novopolotsk oil refinery Naftan has already processed 160 thousand tons of Venezuelan oil brought from Estonia. Now, in the Estonian port of Muuga there being unloaded the third tanker for the enterprise with 80 thousand tons of oil, BTRC informs.

In their turn, at Naftan they stated that difficulties the company had had in the first quarter of this year in connection with new terms of oil supplies from Russia were in the past. By the end of H1, the situation stabilized, noted at Novopolotsk oil refinery.
