Mental Deviations Not Found in Suspected of Attack

Law enforcement agencies of Belarus have come to the conclusion that the detainees on suspicion of committing a terror act in Minsk subway are mentally healthy people. The Interior Ministry has reported that the psychological portrait of the detainees was made as a result of joint work of police, KGB and the Prosecutor General. "There are no grounds talking about mental deviations detainees," said in a statement.

At the same time, the Belarusian specialists have noted that two of the detainees have been inclined to learning chemistry from childhood. «It was on this subject, The detainees were straight A students, while their knowledge in other areas was assessed mediocre,» said in a statement, posted on the MIA site.

«Unfortunately, young men decided to direct their knowledge of such a complex subject to the study of explosives,» concluded the experts.

According to them, the detainees’ «pathological craving for chemical experiments to make explosives» remained after school. Accomplices collected explosive devices, finding the necessary instructions on the Internet, and then tested their bombs. Now, law enforcement officials are searching for places where these tests have been conducted.

The explosion at «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station in Minsk took place at rush hour on April 11, having killed 13 people and injured about 200 innocent citizens.
