Chinese holding company, Midea Group, has bought controlling stake in joint venture for production of household appliances, Midea-Horizont. Now, the Chinese's share in the joint venture is 55%, and Horizont owns 45%. It was stated by the deputy director general of Horizont, Sergei Gunko.
Deputy director did not disclose the cost Chinese holding company bought controlling stake in Midea-Horizont at, but said that the deal «will raise the interest of the Chinese holding company in business development in Belarus», BelTA informs.
Over all period of joint venture work, the Chinese side has invested about 45 million dollars in it, and during their recent visit to the enterprise the representatives of Midea Group commended its work, Sergei Gunko said.
«It was appreciated, technologies used in production are the most advanced, Chinese experts even decided to adopt some of our experience», Horizont representative mentioned.
