The CIS Economic Court's session on "oil" claim of Belarus to Russia, which began on May 18, was resumed the next morning. The first day, the judges examined the organizational issues until late evening, but were unable to tell the date of the trial on the lawsuit.

As Telegraf previously reported, in its claim Belarusian government wants Russia to cancel the duties on oil products exported from the territory of Russia to Belarus imposed on January 1, 2010.

Ministry of Justice has already expressed its disagreement with the order of the claim consideration in connection with the appointment of the Russian, Yuri Mishalchenko, on the post of the Court’s General Adviser. According to the Justice Ministry, it can be «contrary to the principles of parties’ equality and justice» when considering the claim.
