The Court Brings Charges against SCC Chief Investigator

Head of crime investigations department of financial investigations office of the State Control Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Adamovich, was officially charged under article 430 part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (acceptance of a bribe by a person, holding responsible post).

Nevertheless, as Ezhednevnik reports, investigators of the State Security Committee reached an impasse. Dmitry Adamovich has not admitted his guilt after arrest. However, KGB has only evidences of intermediary, who was caught red-handed when transferring a large bribe, against him.

The intermediary reported that he should allegedly hand money to Dmitry Adamovich, who in his turn had to share with somebody else. Based on these data, KGB decided to arrest current head of investigative apparatus of DFI SCC.

As Telegraf previously reported,  after the arrest of Dmitry Adamovich under KGB operation there was dismissed an advisor of the Committee chairman, Viktor Pisarik He is charged with the appointment of the DFI SCC Deputy Director, Viktor Morozov, who under the guise of preventing corruption closed the investigation and DFI SCC control over it on himself in fact.
