The Experts Negotiate Supply of Caspian Oil to Belarus

Experts of the Azerbaijani oil company and Belarusian specialists are discussing the issues of Caspian oil supply to Belarus. It was stated on May 25 during a press conference by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus, Ali T. Naghiyev.

The diplomat also noted that Azerbaijan was ready to participate in any mutually beneficial projects for energy supplies. As of today, in Azerbaijan they produce 50 million tons of oil and 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas a year, web-site of the Union State informs.
 
Moreover, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan called for deeper industrial cooperation between the two countries and said that Alexander Lukashenko planned to make an official visit to Azerbaijan soon. «In a few days, Alexander Lukashenko comes in Azerbaijan with official visit», Ali T. Naghiyev said.
 
According to the diplomat, the visit should provide a «significant impetus for further development of relations between the two countries», BelTA informs. «There are no issues that can not be solved between Belarus and Azerbaijan in all spheres — political, economic, humanitarian cooperation» the ambassador said.

Speaking about the forthcoming visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan, Ali T. Naghiyev said that at a meeting of the two leaders it was planned to discuss a wide range of issues. The ambassador did not rule out that the presidents would consider cooperation in the energy sector. «There are no problems here. We must come to the point of contact, which will be economically beneficial to both countries», Ali T. Naghiyev summed up.
