The Government is to Finance Skills Development in AIC

 The state will finance the process of skills development of Belarusian Agro-Industrial Complex’s employees. According to the decree of the Council of Ministers № 305 on March 2, skills development of the employees in Agro-Industrial Complex – independently of ownership type — will be financed from the republican and local budgets, informed the press service of the government.   

 Adopted document makes additions to the decree «About the permanent professional education of workers (employees)», according the press service of the Council of Ministers.

Paragraph 11 of the decree  establishes that “the permanent professional education of workers (employees) is financed from own funds of legal entities and individuals and other sources not prohibited by law”,  noticed press service.

By this decree the Government of Belarus has supplemented paragraph 11 with a new part which says that «the expenses for the retraining and skills development of workers (employees) sent by agricultural and other organizations which produce and recycle agricultural products, by  isolated units of  legal entities involved in entrepreneurial activity of producing agricultural products, as well as by peasant (farmer) households  and institutions serving the agriculture, are financed   from the republican and local budgets and other sources not prohibited by law. «

The press service of the Council of Ministers marked that the paragraph 33  of the decree «About the  order of skills development, training and retraining of workers»– concerned with agricultural enterprises – is also have been supplemented.
