The government of Belarus simplified the procedure of public purchases made at the expense of own funds of public organizations and enterprises. This decision is contained in the decree №764 of the Council of Ministers, which contributed additions to the decree №1987 on December 20, 2008 "On some issues of public purchases".
Under the taken amendments, the republican government bodies and other state organizations subordinated to the government, regional executive committees and Minsk city executive committee, are allowed to determine the order of purchases’ conductions by subordinated organizations through internal orders if the purchases are carried out at its own expense, Ezhednevnik informs.
The decision of the Council of Ministers also permit to determine the procedure of public purchases considering sectoral and (or) regional peculiarities in the relevant area of public administration. These relations are regulated only by normative legal acts of functional and sectoral nature, that is by orders, stressed in the document.
