The leadership of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Russia and Belarus does not possess any information on possible ratification of the Customs Code of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan by Belarusian parliament at a closed meeting. "Personally I do not have such information, so I can neither deny nor confirm that", Deputy Secretary of State — a member of the Standing Committee of the Union State, Sergei Shukhno, said.

Information on possible ratification of the Code, which was not commented by Belarusian parliament, appeared on Wednesday, June 30, RIA Novosti informs.

The Customs Code of the Customs Union should be implemented from July 1, but Belarusian parliament has not ratified the treaty yet or, according to unofficial sources, just does not confirm that officially.

The agreement on the Customs Code of the Customs Union was signed in Minsk on November 27, 2009. The document is aimed at ensuring customs control on common territory of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, which became its formal work from January 1 of this year.
