On August 12, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, handed state decorations to the country citizens. Congratulating the staff of the Interior Ministry, Belarusian leader pointed out that thanks to their "difficult and sometimes dangerous work" there were no outburst of crime and banditry in the country. "Belarus has an image of the country where the order rains, and people are not afraid to go out at night", the President stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated the staff of public health system. «Today, we can say with confidence: Belarusian doctors have reached the world level. On this day, I want to express special thanks to the people of the noblest profession for their merits towards Belarusian people and direct them to attain new, higher levels», the president of Belarus said.
According to the head of state, difficult task are set for Belarusian public health system. Among them there are program of medicines import substitution, increase of the population’s lifetime, fight against severe and chronic diseases, modern equipment provision for public health facilities, improvement of sanatorium service, BelTA informs.
«Many problems should be solved immediately. We must apply new technologies, progressive approaches and the best practices in prevention and treatment», the president said.
Lliving conditions in every settlement must meet European standards, Lukashenko
State decorations were also handed to a large group of employees of road and construction as well as bridge building organizations’ employees. Alexander Lukashenko noted that achievements of representatives of this sphere were most visible, and we could see them all the time, and new bridges, modern highways gave a new image to our country, created comfort for the people.
«Belarus is a country located in the center of Europe, and we strive to make living conditions in all the settlements as well as transportation system meet European standards. The success of our builders indicates that such a goal is absolutely feasible. Although there is still a lot of work to be done», Belarusian leader emphasized.
Today, among the awardees there were also figures of culture and science. «The existence of the people is unthinkable without the spiritual and intellectual components. We focus on innovative development and qualitative improvement of human life, including satisfying cultural needs. Scientists, writers, artists, musicians largely determine our country’s aspect», Alexander Lukashenko said.
Furthermore, the head of state awarded a large group of border services officers. The president said that border service at was «a heart of the most advanced technologies, but a man, a frontier is still in the center of this important service».
The president also wished wellbeing, good health and new achievements to all the awardees.
