Russian politician, Valeria Novodvorskaya, stated that "the majority of Russians believe that Kievan Rus' still exists". "And that there is no Ukraine, no Belarus, no Russia. There are only Polians and Derevlians and others", Russian politician commented on the question about the Russians' attitude to Ukrainians.

Speaking of Ukraine, Valeria Novodvorskaya stated that she considered it necessary to declare impeachment of the president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych. «They should go to Maidan immediately, do not waste time in vain. Yanukovich should be removed, for the treason, for violating the Constitution — impeachment. Your parliament, your Rada should be re-elect because it seems that some deputies are simply sold themselves to Yanukovich», the politician said during the on-line conference on Echo of Moscow.

Valeria Novodvorskaya also responded to a question about the candidates for presidency in the upcoming elections in Belarus. «I think that Shushkevich is very decent man, if he gets into a fight. If Pazniak did not take to his heels to the West, then Pazniak would fit. But we can’t believe him, for sure. Kozulin has shown himself as an honest man, courageous. If he has got normal economic views, you can stick to Kozulin», Russia’s oppositionist said, noting that the Belarusians should «know better, who else they have».
