Interim Kyrgyz authorities promise to call for international community in helping to put pressure on Belarus on the issue of President Kurmanbek Bakiyev's extradition. It was stated on May 6 by the Acting Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, Temir Sariev, at a press conference at the KABAR agency.

At the same time, the acting head of Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance underlined that before that, law enforcement agencies to detect all the crimes committed at home by Kurmanbek Bakiyev staying in Minsk now.

«Law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan to hold investigations with special care, during which there will be detected and specified the crimes committed by Kurmanbek Bakiyev. All the documents will be collected and sent, on behalf of Kyrgyzstan we’ll demand his extradition, and on behalf of the international community we’ll render the pressure to bring Kurmanbek Bakiyev in Kyrgyzstan», Temir Sariev said.

«And if he is clean before the law, then we’ll let him go, if not, then he’ll be responsible before the law and only the court decides it», the representative of Kyrgyz interim government said.

As Telegraf previously reported, the president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said in an interview to Reuters that he was not going to issue Kyrgyz president, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, to the interim authorities. In his turn, the Interior Minister, Anatoly Kuleshov, on May 6, informed that the Interior Ministry has not yet received a formal request for extradition of the president of Kyrgyzstan.
