There is No Serial Killer in Mogilev, Prosecutor's Office says

On April 1st the senior assistant to the prosecutor of the region Alla Kuznetsova has declared that what people talks about seriality of severe murders of women in Mogilev, have no bases. At present the investigators managed to find out that two people died on the same day and approximately in the same place.

«There are no bases to say, that  a serial killer operates in Mogilev. The investigators don’t have the concrete facts confirming these circumstances», Alla Kuznetsova emphasized, BelTA informs.

As Telegraph has earlier reported, on March, 23rd a new one dismembered corpse of the woman was found out in the same area of Mogilev where the police found out the first body cut on pieces. The new dismembered corpse was found out in the street Fatina in immediate proximity from a place of the last find, the chief of investigatory department of Office of Public Prosecutor of the Mogilev area Sergey Katrich said.

Police initiated a criminal case under item 6 part 2 of the article 139 «Murder made with special cruelty» of the Criminal Code of Belarus. The investigation is carried on.

The third dismembered corpse was found out in Mogilev, anonymous source

According to an anonymous source, the third body was found out in Mogilev on March 31rd. Any details about killed person are unclear. It’s known neither a gender, nor age, nor the place, the body was found out, the «Nasha Niva» informs. At the same time the representatives of the Office of Public Prosecutor do not confirm this information.

According to one version, the killed persons were familiar. They lived an asocial life, and most likely, they were killed on one day by the same person. Also it is reported about the woman, acquainted with the first killed person. She worked in a mortuary. The investigators search for her now.
