On the outskirts of the forest three kilometers from Ashmiany, which in Hrodna voblast, two brown bears frightened three Minsk businessmen, who wanted to dine in the arbour. When two young men were setting the table, bears went out of the woods towards them. Having thrown their food, the men rushed to the car, where there was another man, and drove away.
Before leaving, the young men noticed the bears had thrown bread, sausage and fruit down off the table with their paws and began eating, BelTA informs.
Earlier, one of the residents of Ashmiany had seen two brown bears half a kilometer from the city. Residents of Ashmiany district found tracks of a female bear and two cubs in the woods. There were some other cases of unexpected meetings with bears in this region. According to the staff of forestry, bears appeared in Hrodno voblast a few years ago, some of them even build their winter dens near the villages.
