Venezuela Will Export Oil To Belarus

Venezuela to supply oil to Belarus. This was agreed on March 15 by presidents of Belarus and Venezuela as a result of their past negotiations in Caracas. Soon, the sides will sign agreement on oil supplies from Venezuela to Belarus and on cooperation in the energy sector.

«We fully agreed on the supply of Venezuelan oil to Belarus. Oil will come from Venezuela to our refineries. Together we will refine it and sell petroleum products in the European market,» — stressed Alexander Lukashenko.

«We will continue to develop oil-extraction in the interest of both countries,» — the Belarusian president said, adding that Belarusian-Venezuelan joint venture Petrolera BeloVenesolana currently produces about one million tons of oil annually.

Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus and Venezuela agreed on gasification of the Venezuelan towns and villages. «Over the next year we will build in Venezuela three or four plants for the production of tractors, cars, heavy trucks, a large brick factory, which can produce 100 thousand tons of bricks,» — noted the Head of State.

«We agreed on all issues,» — stressed Alexander Lukashenko, noting that in the near future, two leaders will visit the building sites, will open new oil fields and new settlements.

Lukashenko: Belarus will create the trade house in Venezuela.

President of Belarus said that the Belarusian trade house will be created in Venezuela  by the suggestion of Hugo Chavez. «We will create a large Belarusian trading house, which will sell everything that Latin America needs. We have very big plans,»- said Alexander Lukashenko.

Belarusian Head of State stressed that «Belarusians came here not to earn some big or small money. We want to do everything so that the Venezuelan people have everything that has a sister of Belarus,»- BelTA informs.

Chavez: Venezuela is interested in Belarusian technologies.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez stressed the interest in obtaining the Belarusian technologies. «We are very pleased with your visit and are ready to continue the construction of our union,»- said Hugo Chavez, particularly drawing attention to the theme of scientific and technical cooperation, which is very important for him.

Chavez reiterated the focus and unity of the two countries’ positions on issues of the international agenda. «We stand for a multipolar world, for justice,» — stressed the President.
