It's more favorable to the Republic of Belarus to buy Venezuelan oil than Russian with %100 duty. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko on TV channel ONT on November 28. "I can not say everything, but it should be noted that it's more advantageous for us to buy Venezuelan oil than Russian with %100 duty," he said.

Rail transport replacement into the pipeline allows Belarus to get additional $30 per each ton of oil, Deputy Prime Minister said, BelTA.

«This can be compared with the rate of return of our plants — Mazyr refinery, Navapolatsk refinery, which they now earn by petroleum refining, necessary for the plant functioning. This is a big figure — $30 per ton,» Vladimir Semashko stressed.
