The eldest son of President Alexander Lukashenko Viktor, who is assistant head of State for National Security Affairs, met with the Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani in Doha on January 30. The sides discussed issues of mutual cooperation between the countries.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who heads the company «Qatar Petroleum», reports Gulf Times.
According to Telegraf, Viktor Lukashenko is on the sanctions list of the Belarusian officials, who can be denied in entry to the U.S. and the EU.
