According to the motorist, the basis for the next price increase was the raising of taxes by the Russian side. «But the price, we buy oil for domestic consumption at, is much higher than we buy it in Russia!», Salidarnast quotes the rally organizer.

Vladislav Benko stated that «Stop petrol!» campaign has become a resonance. «It was supported by the representatives of automobile clubs, high officials also know about it and watch the impending rally», the car owner said. «Stop petrol!» rally has already got its website, the coming days we’ll distribute shirts and stickers with a call to ignore petrol stations on June 4.

«We do not demand the government to low fuel prices. We want only its value depend on the fluctuations in world market prices, rather than on the authorities’ willingness. If the world market prices fell — you should reduce, if increased — increase, but it should not be set in the form of an order «, the organizer of the protest campaign stated.
