If the chief forces to vote in advance, you can contact the prosecutor's office. This was stated by the head of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina. However, according to the CEC head, if the chief requests to vote before the election day, you should say: "I will come on election day." In this case, it is a pure propaganda," Lidia Yermoshina said.

As stated by the head of the Central Election Commission, threats such as «if you do not go, then you will be punished» are a clear violation of freedom of the citizen to participate in elections, which may be punished administratively, «Komsomolskaya Pravda in Belarus» reported.

According to Telegraf, 3.4% of the voters or more than 237 thousand people participated in early voting at presidential elections in Belarus on the first day. This was stated by the Secretary of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Lozovik. 5% of voters were registered in Vitsebsk voblast, 4.2% — in Homel voblast, 3.5% — in Mahileu voblast, 3.1% — in Hrodna voblast, 3% — in Minsk voblast and 2.6% — in Brest boblast and in Minsk.
