Leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and State Duma Deputy, Gennady Zyuganov, advocated the reunion of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, believing that this way, former Soviet republics will be more competitive in Europe and in the world in general. «I think: our common tragedy is that in 1991 we did not save united country. For me, Russian people are Great Russians, Little Russians and Belorussians. I suppose that the main tragedy of our people is the separation took place that time. It is unnatural, abnormal, immoral and criminal in many aspects. Therefore, the reunion and interaction of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus is a major strategic goal for me. It’s not accidentally that every year I come to the Crimea, to Ukraine, to Belarus and do everything in order to inosculate broken vessels, junctions and not to pay a kind of tribute to anybody. Unfortunately, we all pay a terrible tribute for the collapse», the CPRF leader said.
According to Gennady Zyuganov, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus have no «future history» if they do not unite, Korrespondent.net informs.
«If we sum up (potentials) — we are competitors (in the world and in Europe), we are able to have tremendous potential and be subjects of world history. If not, they will exploit great, rich in natural resources Russia, sincere Ukraine and glorious , hard-working Belarus — and there will be no prospect to be subjects of this great policy — no, we will be servants», the CPRF leader stressed.
