Russia Continues to Ban Milk Supply from Belarus

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) from June 25 imposes temporary restrictions on dairy products of four Belarusian enterprises. The statement of Rosselkhoznadzor says that restrictions on dairy products supply from Belarus were adopted because of repeated detection of antibiotics of tetracycline group in it.

Rosselkhoznadzor has temporarily limited supplies of Borisov Dairy Plant, Osipovichi Dairy Plant, Bereza Cheese Making Plant, Babushkina Krynka.

Meanwhile, Rosselkhoznadzor abolished intensified laboratory monitoring of products of seven Belarusian enterprises (Slutsk Cheese Plant, Milk, CMF № 1, Mstislavl Dairy Plant, Verkhnedvinsk Creamery, Kopyl Creamery, Kholopenichi branch of Borisov Dairy Plant).

Rosselkhoznadzor’s statement reads that the sampling of products of mentioned above Belarusian enterprises will be implemented in the frames of monitoring studies.
